»Priznam, sprva sem bila nekoliko skeptična. Obstaja toliko spletnih strani, ki ponujajo generične družinske grbe – mislila sem, da bo tudi ta podobna. A grb, ki sem ga prejela za družino Novak, me je res presenetil.

 

Oblika je bila čudovita, zgodovinsko poročilo pa veliko bolj podrobno, kot sem pričakovala. Naše korenine so bile izsledene vse do 13. stoletja v južni Sloveniji – vključno z Matevžem Novakom, ki je konec 14. stoletja delal kot mestni pisar v Škofji Loki.

Nisem točno vedela, kaj pričakovati, ko sem naročila Popolni družinski paket za priimek Kranjc. Mislila sem, da bo morda lepo spominsko darilo – a nikoli si nisem predstavljala, da me bo tako globoko ganilo.

 

Grb je bil zelo impresiven, a pravo presenečenje je bilo zgodovinsko poročilo. Družinska linija Kranjc je bila izsledena vse do začetka 15. stoletja, vključno z Mihaelom Kranjcem, ki je bil v času vladavine cesarja Sigismunda posestnik na območju Kranjske.
